What is Nualgi Foliar Spray?
Nualgi Foliar Spray is an advanced Nano Scale liquid foliar spray which combines a balanced mix of 13 plant nutrients in a single formulation. It contains primary nutrients (P, K) ; Secondary nutrients ( Ca, Mg, S ); Micro nutrients ( Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B, Mo); and, in addition, Silica (Si) and Cobalt (Co). The particles size is between 1 and 30 nano meters. Nano particles allow for easier fluming in the tank and smaller micro droplets during application. Each nutrient is adsorbed on to nano-silica molecule preventing it from bonding with each other or with water or the atmosphere.
How does Nualgi Foliar Spray work?
Nualgi delivers all the nutrients essential for an efficient photosynthesis directly on the leaf. Due to its fine particle size, the nutrients are absorbed through the leaf. A highly efficient photosynthesis creates an effective liquid carbon pathway to the roots. The liquid carbon oozing out of the roots supports the micro-organisms surrounding the roots resulting in “Bio-mining”. Soil Micro-organisms feeding on oozuates, thrive and break the chemical bonds of nutrient compounds, releasing the nutrient ions to the plant. Soil micro-organisms together with Archaea and Mycorrhizal fungi convert atmospheric nitrogen into organic nitrogen which is also delivered to the plant. The carbon cycle thus helps to complete the nitrogen and nutrient cycle. Soil structure and soil health is improved over time. A fuller conversion of sugars to ATP results in plants less susceptible to pests.
What end benefits does it deliver to the grower?
In field trials in California, USA on Strawberry, Spinach, Pistachio, Table Grapes, Tomatoes and Potatoes, up to 20% higher yield was realized with a 70% Grower Standard + 30% Nualgi. Additionally better plant health, fruit color and nutrient levels were observed.
Where is Nualgi used?
Nualgi can be used for any type of plants. It has been used by over 50,000 farmers on crops such as berries, row crops such as potatoes, cabbage and cauliflower, fruit trees, tea coffee and cocoa, spices, legumes, pulses, cotton, vines and flowers and ornamental plants. It can also be used for pre-treating seeds.
Can Nualgi be used with other fertilizers?
Yes, there is no restriction on using Nualgi with any other fertilizer.
How is Nualgi applied?
Nualgi is best applied as a fine spray on leaves in the morning using a power spray or a manual back mounted spray. Where possible, both the upper and lower part of the leaf must be sprayed for best results. It can also be mixed in fertigation tanks for application in larger areas. If it rains within 6 hours of application, Nualgi needs to be applied again once the rain stops.
What is the dosage and coverage?
Nualgi is supplied in 500ml bottles. The recommended treatment is generally 150 to 300ml per acre diluted in 150-300 Liters of water, depending on the crop. Nualgi agronomists will provide specific dosage instructions.
Is Nualgi safe to use?
Nualgi is non-hazardous and non-toxic. It has been tested under OECD guidelines for acute dermal and oral toxicity.
For field application, minimum personal protective equipment including gloves and eye protection are recommended. Do not expose open wounds to Nualgi. In case of accidental exposure, flush with plenty of water.
